This was our first cruise ever and it was so fantastic that we are already looking forward to our next one! We even paid a future cruise deposit while on board.

We were totally prepared for our embarkation to be a "hurry up and wait" type of operation with long lines and lots of people, but Princess has this down to an art and the whole process was rather quick and totally painless.

Our cabin, R228, was not near as small as we had anticipated. I was particularly worried about the size of the shower as someone had pointed out to me how small they are as I'm not a small person but it had more room in it than the one in our camper so it was great. Our steward was terrific, she went out of her way to help us with some items and our appreciation was shown in an additional type we left for her.

Interior

Cabin IC

Was roomier than expected. Had a roomy closet, digital safe, refrigerator, and hairdryer. Didn't offer many plugs so be sure to bring and extension with multi plugs - not a surge protector though.

Port Reviews

Seattle

Seattle was busy, overall dirtier than I thought it would be, granted we only saw a small portion of it.

Juneau

Took the free shuttle around town and had a wonderful driver who did give us a free presentation of the town!

Red Dog Saloon is a must!
