We chose Alaska for our first cruise. The experience was beyond our expectations! Embankment was easy and fast. We chose an inside mid ship stateroom not know if we would have any problems with seasickness. We didn’t but the room was fine, actually bigger than I expected. We also chose the dining package so we are at Cagneys Steakhouse, Moderno and Tappayaki. All 3 were terrific. We also ate at the Garden Cafe, Summer Palace, Lotus Garden and O’Sheenans. All had great food.

We also booked excursions at all ports except Victoria, BC. The only port where you have enough time to do excursions and check out the town is Skagway. The others are short times in port. We played Deal or No Deal, Bingo and spent a lot of money in the casino. It was a true escape since we did not pay for internet. We were unplugged except when we could use our service in ports. This was a vacation of a lifetime with lots of memories!!
