Sail Date: Aug 2018
Cabin: Large Balcony

We walked into our cabin to a huge stain on the carpet. I mean, as if a large red slurpee was spilled and it was left that way. Now, let me be clear. Every staff member we met, including the people who took care of the rooms, was super helpful and responsive to our needs. However, this is an issue with the ship needed to be updated or maintained more properly, as they continuously cruise without break and those of us who spend a fortune on a room are left feeling robbed of the feeling that you’re in a clean room.

Other than that, we enjoyed the specialty restaurants (sushi, hibachi, steakhouse - all delicious) and the trip itself. They did a great job when it came time to get off in the various ports, we never waited in a long line to get on or off the ship. We loved the shows we did attend as well. There were plenty of activities to do, and always a pool chair available if you just wanted to lounge by the pool.

The balcony was gorgeous and would’ve definitely been worth the money if the cabin itself would’ve been more well maintained. We never felt our room shaking or rocking while sailing, and often forgot we were on a cruise ship.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony

Cabin B6

Our cabins carpet was completely stained and grossed me out from the second we got on the ship. If Norwegian does not intend on cleaning the carpets, then they should not have carpets in the cabins. Disappointing when you spend a ton of money for your honeymoon to get a cabin that is gross.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

Pickup from airport, private tour and then hotel dropoff. Perfect half day tour for exploring!

Naples

Pompeii Tour was amazing ! Well worth the money (which was less than the cruise and for a very small group of people).

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Got to see all of the best highlights of Rome in a very small group. Air conditioned vehicles. Definitely a better value than what the cruise offers.

Florence (Livorno)

Went to Pisa on a coach bus and wandered on our own. Very easy walk to the Leaning Tower from the bus dropoff.

Cannes

Beach is an easy walk from the port, and that is how we spent our day. Also, lots of restaurants in walking distance.

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

Great shopping and food.
