I had chosen this cruise to experience the Baltic Capitols so well known for their history, architecture and canals, namely St Petersburg, Russia and Stockholm, Sweden.

Due to Norwegian’s Port negotiability for Stockholm, they had to call port an hour away from Stockholm,(this is not what was advertised when booking the cruise, they changed it 30 days prior to cruising.).We were cut short several hours of shopping and touring of Stockholm. This was a pretty major blow against the expectations and cost of the trip. Plus, adding two hours on a bus to and from just to be able to see the famed Stockholm. Once again, this in my opinion is unacceptable and a major blow to the overall experience that was advertised and promised by Norwegian.

Now, the food. I am usually pretty laid back in the expectations of the food on cruise ships. But, this has now become the top worse food experience in all my travels spanning 35-40 years. Bland, repetitive, cold, undercooked and just plain bad. I had three evenings of speciality dining to be included and only used two, because it was just ridiculous in the quality and taste. And wanting to charge extra for the Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville? What a waste of space and man hours. Not once, ever, day or night, during the 9 day cruise did we see more than 4 people sitting in there. And the place seated around 100.

Was clean, but way overpriced for the size.
