As first-time cruisers, we chose this cruise because the itinerary was perfect (three full days in St Petersburg..more about that below). In addition, we wanted to experience a cruise that was mostly all-inclusive and a bit luxurious with very spacious cabins. We certainly made the right choice for us--a couple traveling with two friends.
The embarkation from Copenhagen was easy and quick and we were delighted at our attractive and spacious suites (one Classic Veranda and one Superior Veranda--they were identical).
The food served was excellent and we enjoyed Indochine...but most of the time we were very happy with the main dining room and appreciated the variety of choice of wine and entrees. Service was uniformly excellent. We were always seated right away although the morning of disembarkation breakfast was unusually crowded...not surprising.
I particularly appreciated being able to pull a black-out curtain between bedroom area and sitting area for mid-night reads and 4 am viewing of the sea...). The minor issue with a hand shower in the bathroom took longer to fix than it should have but this was not the attendant's fault. Loved the spacious bathroom with good-size shower, two sinks, and full bath.
