We flew into San Juan the day prior to embarkation. We arrived around 8pm, and got a taxi to the Courtyard Marriott in Miramar. This was a great hotel for departures from the Pan American pier. In the morning, we had breakfast at the hotel. It was good, and not terribly expensive. Got a taxi to the pier at about 10:45. We arrived just as they began accepting luggage. A porter saw our luggage tags, and said to follow him. He took us around the line, turned in our bags, and pointed to the Platinum/Diamond line. We were about 4th or 5th in line. A short wait, and the doors opened. We were checked in within 10 minutes, and waited for about 15 minutes or so to board. Quick and easy!!

Had lunch at the windjammer, and then headed up to the Sky Bar. Took a few pictures, walked around a bit, and then headed to our room.

Room: 7388, corner aft balcony: This was a GREAT room. the balcony is huge, and we had breakfast delivered all but 2 mornings. Room steward was very good. Overall, service on board was very good to excellent.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Very large balcony. Standard size room for E1. Can be some noise from crew area 2 decks below the balcony on the aft area of the ship. Longer walk from the elevators to the aft rooms.
