This was our 3rd cruise to Alaska, but the first on Celebrity.... Never again will we use Celebrity!

We cruised on the Solstice going to Alaska We have lots of comments to make. First of all, our travel agent told me that Celebrity was one of the better cruise lines.... more like the cadillac. We found this to be totall incorrect as soon as we boarded.

We wanted a mini suite but they were already booked and we didn't have much choice. We did however get a balcony. WE found that there were few amenities in our room... not even an ice bucket or pen and paper. Later we were told that the imenities were taken away from the lower paying cabins and given to the more luxurious ones. I call this discrimination!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 1C

Cabin 1C

The cabin was small, but it did have a large TV (not working properly) as well as a couch and a small balcony. There were no footstools on the cabin. Although we wanted a larger cabin, this one was ample in size.

Don't shop the cruise line owned shops. Aurora jewelers is the best.

Arrived too late to want to go on land
