Chose cruise because it looked interesting when were were searching on line. We started our vacation search looking on the Globus Tours web site with no idea what kind of vacation were going to take or where we were eventually going. We found Avalon Waterways on the Globus site. Avalon is a partner of Globus Tours, and we took a Globus Tour last year and were very impressed with how it was run. This cruise more than met our expectations.

Our room was nice (a little small, but nice). Food (all meals were included) was spectacular. The staff treated us tremendously. The tours and included excursions all were as described in the brochure. All the days' events were extremely well organized, and were accompanied with an itinerary sheet delivered to our rooms the day before. Avalon handled our ground transportation to and from the airport in a fully professional manner.
