Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

We decided to go on this cruise simply because we live in New England and it departed from Boston. We have been to Bermuda before and love this beautiful island.

We found embarkation and disembarkation smooth but it seemed to take a long time.

The Norwegian Dawn is an older ship. We did find it difficult to get around -- there are some spaces in the ship that are hard to access. I wished I had a map!

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

We loved having a mini-suite. We had our teenage daughter with us, and having a slightly larger room with a solid, light-excluding curtain to pull between us, was fantastic. We had a balcony that we used a lot. The view was unobstructed and great. We had a bathtub, which I didn't love. I found it difficult to step over the side to get in, because there were some sharp edges on the runners for the glass shower doors. I actually cut myself once! But otherwise the room was clean, comfortable, roomy and, for a stateroom, spacious. We had originally had a balcony and we upgraded just a few days before the trip.
