We were given a recommendation by our travel agaent to try this cruise line for the Danube River cruise. We have done a lot of ocean cruising so this was our first river cruise. I was shocked at how expensive it was. We arrived in Prague and only then did we hear that we would not be sailing from Nuremberg. We did do a 4 hour guided walking tour the first day. No meals other then breakfast were included. We were on our own for the next day and a half. We were bus to Passau 4 hour bus rise. Our room was very small. We paid for a balcony room which was not worth the money because we were only on the river for a very short few hours and at night we were sandwiched between two other boats. No view at all. The tour director apologized several times to us for not being told of the change. But what can you do Mother Nature has a mind of her own. We met some lovely people (the highlight of the trip). The booze was flowing and people started to unwind. The meals were OK nothing fabulous or exceptional. Just OK. The staff were pleasant but the ship had limited staff so the serve was very slow. Most nights it took us more then an hour to be served. At times people got up and got their own wine or beverage. The entertainment was what you can expect on a river cruise. The pianist was very talented. The excursions were good. Lots of bus travelling because of our location. Sometimes 6 hours of our day was on a bus. The guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. The places we saw were wonderful. I personally was not impressed. I would not do another river cruise.

Very small the bed filled the room. The balcony was useless. The bathroom was well equipped. There were cubby holes everywhere to store your belongings. They took advantage of every square inch.
