This cruise was a celebration of our 30th anniversary. It also coincided with my birthday. Everything was more than I expected. The friendly staff were so accommodating. With the various excursions included, the cost of this cruise was very reasonable and the extras that we did add were well worth the money. I love exploring new places and learning about the culture and being introduced to new food and drinks from the local venues. The cruise director, Lee was an outstanding host. On my birthday, the Maitre d' approached my husband at breakfast and inquired about having a small celebration at dinner. It was really special to share my birthday with the wonderful people we had met on the cruise with a special dessert for our table. We have planned out next Viking adventure, Into the Midnight Sun from Bergen to London, a Viking Ocean cruise in July 2019. I am hoping for a similar experience on the seas.
