Room was very nice.
It was one of the "suites" or at least one of the nicest on the boat.
Food at Cagney's was very good.
As long as you don't need anything you will have a great cruise.
If you need the smallest thing such as having the beds separated as instructed when cruise was booked, then that will be difficult for them to manage. They never brought extra pillows which were requested when cruise was booked.
If you need a bandaid and the band-aid dispenser ($1.00 a band-aid) is empty, they will be happy to call you at your room once the band-aid dispenser has been refilled, for you to then walk back down to the medical room and put four quarters in a dispenser. Had to ask three people for band-aid, finally our butler provided three band-aids to us. The staff is polite, and not welcoming, they seem like they have just gone through some kind of corporate training to be nicer, and it really didn't stick.
Other service failures occurred, and we never felt welcomed. Only the butler: Benny was helpful and kind.
This is my third cruise: Disney, Royal Caribbean, and now NCL. I wouldn't recommend NCL after this cruise.
The Cabin was very luxurious. The ship was clean. There were plenty of staff. Like I said, if you don't need anything at all, then you'll be great. If you have the smallest request, it will be a hassle, and you will be putting out the staff. Only the butler (the room service came with a butler) seemed like he cared about my father's comfort, and was happy to serve. Everyone else was just professionally courteous, but NOT warm and inviting. Have had better service on other cruises in less costly rooms.
