I have always wanted to go a cruise. I chose this cruise because of its convenience . It left from New York. I was celebrating my 51st Birthday and I was a Solo Cruiser. I had a wonderful and memorable time. I met wonderful people. The Shore activities were exciting. The extensive sanitary conditions made me feel assured I was on a safe and clean ship. The cabin was clean and the food was delicious.

The embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. The club Bliss is known for Karaoke and every night with DJ Remy there was a good turnout. The shore excursions to CoCo Beach in Florida and Port Carnavel as well as the private island Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas were exciting. I swam along a yellow striped fish and seen four iguanas that were within ten feet from me.

I was a first time cruiser, and I am ready to cruise again. I would take the Norweign Gem again leaving from New York.
