We chose this cruise for several reasons. The itinerary had something for each of us- New England and Canada for DH and Bermuda for me. Another reason was that we did not need to fly. It was NY to NY. Oceania came highly recommended by friends and family especially for its small ship size and great food.
Embarking was a breeze though the terminal waiting room was not inviting and not comfortable. Disembarking was well organized and carefully explained. They took into consideration passengers needing to disembark earlier and we had a choice. We chose to linger over breakfast in the Terrace Cafe and leave at 9 am.
Though the decor will be changing, we found it warm and inviting. The ship was well maintained and to us, it was obvious the crew took pride in its appearance. Our cabin was immaculate. We were in a PH2 and though spacious, the tub in the bathroom needs to go. It was difficult to get in and out of to shower, despite handrails. The lounges on the balcony were not practical. The foot rest seemed to be in a permanently fixed position.
Great museums,wonderful food and entertainment!
A walkable city with good shopping. Great college city.
The shore walk is incredible. Visited Cadillac Mountain and Acadia Park previously. Gorgeous scenery.
Good Maritime History Museum and Harbor walk. Blown glass and crafts. I was impressed with an ice ream stand that had gluten free cones,
