This was our third time sailing on The Reflection. It’s a lovely ship and in good condition ( except for a tattered vanity chair in our cabin). Our balcony cabin was conveniently located midship near elevators. The Western Mediterranean itinerary was very nice. There were two sea days which we spent in the air conditioned indoor pool area. Weather was extremely hot in every port. We dined each night in the specialty restaurants and the food and service there were very good. We attended most of the shows. We enjoyed the Broadway themed show and found the other shows to be mediocre. Many families take cruises in August before the children return to school. The ship was teeming with children of all ages. Many of the younger children were zooming down hallways and up and down the stairs with no adult supervision. We could hear the kids in the cabin above us constantly running and jumping. I’ve been on a Disney Cruise and on the huge RCCL ships- Harmony, Oasis, Allure but this felt like the most crammed with kids cruise experience, yet. The main pool was packed with kids on sea days. We will not be booking any future cruises during the month of August. September would probably be better.
Larger balcony on the hump. Very convenient location near elevators midship
We booked the round trip bus transfer from the ship to Florence
