My husband and I took this cruise to celebrate our Anniversary. We booked a balcony room and we were excited to go to a couple of islands we had not been to. Let me start by saying the staff and the excursions were amazing - no issues. The staff was very friendly and we had a great time in the ports of call. This review is based on the ship and our stateroom.

The ship is old and in need of repairs and upgrades. We stayed on the Upper level and from Day 1 before we ever left port, our stateroom toilet had issues. Day 1 we attempted to flush the toilet and it didn't work....tried again, and finally after about a 10 minute delay it flushed. Day 2 our toilet worked great, no issues. Day 3, woke up to get ready to go to Half Moon Cay and my husband attempted to flush the toilet....nope, didn't work. Kind of bad when I had to get dressed to leave my stateroom so that I could go to another floor and find a public restroom to use. Asked the stateroom steward if there were issues and he stated there were issues and they were working on it. OK, great they are working on it. We leave and go to the island all day and come back and see that our toilet had been flushed so figured it was working. Well, we assumed WRONG! Nope, toilet didn't flush. At this point we went to Guest Services and the lady we spoke with didn't seem to care too much that our toilet didn't work. Didn't apologize and only said that a small section of the ship still had plumbing issues and they were still working on it. GREAT, more having to leave our rooms to find a public restroom. Sometime later in the evening on Day 3 the toilet worked.

Our balcony glass was so filthy and dirty, it was very hard to see out of it. It looked like it had not been cleaned in a few months. The floor had not been vacuumed prior to our arriving and there was so much dust on the chair in the room and on the shelves. Luckily I travel with Clorox wipes and I wiped and cleaned all the hard surfaces in my stateroom. Read more
