We selected this cruise because it was close to our home and we didn’t want to fly out of Baltimore. Note this was our second cruise on the Pride, which occurred a few years ago. The pool areas were overcrowded and not well maintained. The roof on our balcony was rust filled. However, our cabin Stewart, Joey and our head waiter, Diana and her team were amazing. I found guest services not to be friendly nor accommodating. In reference to the ports of call, they were not very interesting. Other guests on board thought the same. More time should have been allowed for Carnival’s private island. In reference to the food offered onboard, it seemed as if the same foods were presented daily on the Lido deck, which became quite boring. This was our last cruise on Carnival. The ship is on desperate need of an overhaul. In closing, I forgot to mention that the cruise line confiscated a bottle of wine that was in my luggage. My luggage was not delivered to my state room until 6:30 on the evening of departure. After dealing with guest services and asserting myself, my wine was then delivered to my stateroom two days later. Really poor service.
