Traveled with children

My travel agent recommended this cruise because I was taking the whole family, including grandchildren. The kids had a good time because they were together and they loved the water slides, despite the long lines.

For me, I would never choose this again. The ship is too big. There were 5500 people. Getting reservation at one of the specialty restaurants was not possible. The rooms were smaller than I have had on other cruises even though we had veranda rooms. There was only one pool, aside from the kids' pool, and it had a maximum occupancy of 39 . Also, it was sandwiched between a bar and a stage that constantly had something going on, causing people to congregate on the sides of the pool, making access all but impossible. As far as the food, although I heard that the food in the specialty restaurants was wonderful we never got to experience this and the food in the main dining room, which was always overcrowded, was not what I expected.
