We have sailed Disney, Carnival and Royal Caribbean....one might say we are seasoned cruisers. We chose NCL Escape partly to try the line but mostly for the itinerary. We love Bermuda.
We were traveling with four kids, 6, 9, 12 and 13. Stayed on Deck 13, Balcony Cabin's 13768 and 13766. I WOULD NOT recommend these. The crew door was right across the hall and made it very noisy. Access to the elevators was convenient but since this ship doesn't have Aft, mid ship and Forward elevators like most.....everyone Forward had to us these mid ship elevators.....Many noisy people walking by. I will say at about 1am the noise stopped.
Food. Best food we have had on a cruise line. EXCEPT Bayamo....that was horrible for us.

Port is well run....taxis are plentiful. There is decent shopping here that isn't all the souvenir type of stuff.
