Chose this cruise from Venice because of the ports of call. The tendor system is a joke. Queued up twice for tendor tickets, only to be so far down the line had to waste two and a half hours to get off the ship at Santorini. Not long enough in the ports for you to thoroughly enjoy. I am intolerant to many foods and tried to contact NCL before hand for special items, is oat milk, and gluten and yeast free bread. Ended up taking my own. the garden cafe is like feeding time in the zoo, and very hard to get a seat. The only gluten free cereal they had was cheerios so had those for seven days. Our cabin was not thoroughly cleaned when we arrived, water still in the coffee machine, bits of paper under the curtains, a child's woollen bracelet too, mirror was smeared and stayed like that all week. The toilet smelt of urine all the time and the room (with balcony) was very small. The only decent shows were the professional singers that they had on, the rest we came out of. Noted that the game shows they played ie deal or no deal, required a fee. This was to have been an extra special holiday, and for the cost of should have been, but I now know I will not step on another NCL ship. The queue to get on the ship at the start was horrendous and completely disorganised so that guests were left queuing in hot temperatures with no offer of water and the getting off was a shambles with a line snaking around the ship as some guests chose not to have their luggage collected the night before. And also because of my food intolerance the only alcohol I can drink is gin (yuk), but the specialist ones are lovely, did they have any, yes one in the shop!!! Why was this not available in the bar, spoilt our celebrations immensely.
