Made to order omelette from the Belvedere - amazing!
Promenade deck at midnight
Piano bar, midships
Evening turn down service

We'd not cruised for nearly 20 years, and this time had a (now) grown up 19 year old daughter and an 83 year old mother in tow. We chose the Baltic as I had Danish heritage and we wanted to go somewhere we'd not normally visit.

We had connecting balcony cabins on E deck (E152/E156). The steward opened the balcony so we could share it, and we found the space and cabins really comfortable.

Loved the food - mother had three course breakfast, lunch and dinner every day! We didn't need to go to the speciality restaurants, as we found the MDR excellent. We had a table for four near the stern with great views to starboard. The waiters (Peter, Lourenco and Sheila) were attentive and personable, and we got on really well with them.

Deluxe Stateroom with Balcony and Bath/Shower

Cabin DE

Really comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, temperature adjustable, sliding balcony doors. Loved it.

Port Reviews

Drove straight to port so didn't experience Southampton.

Stockholm is amazing. The 3 hour journey through the islands is worth the price of the cruise itself. We went to the Abba Museum on the tram then got a ferry to the old town, and had meatballs in a really nice cafe, before walking back to the centre via the palace.

Quaint, quiet, pretty town. We walked through the high streets, really enjoyed it

Unbelievable beautiful little city, with a Brugge-like main square. Very busy with coach parties. I have developed a liking for the 'Vanna Tallin' liqueur.

The harbour is buzzing, so we took a boat trip through the islands; £25 for 90 minutes, and really informative. Beautiful parks.

We walked to the little mermaid then got a bus to Tivoli Gardens. Tivoli is simply one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. We then walked back to the main square through Copenhagen's answer to Oxford Street. Brilliant!

Got the little train from the port to the city centre, then walked to the Royal Palace. You can walk through the grounds, which is lovely. We then had a look around the harbour in the evening. Loved it.
