We sailed on the lovely Solstice for 14 nights nearly 9 months ago (late Nov to Dec 2017). I wrote the below immediately after coming back, but had not posted it. Hoping the below is still relevant and helpful as we near another Australia/New Zealand cruising season.

We are just back from a 14 night cruise on the lovely Solstice. My husband and I are in our 30s, and have a 2 year old son. My parents also joined us on this cruise. We have cruised several times in the past on various cruise lines, but this was our son’s first cruise, and our first in three years. Cruising was even better than we remembered.  Since Cruise Critic is so helpful to me when planning vacations, I wanted to write this review to share our cruising experience and port activities, and also to include specific information related to cruising with a toddler that may be helpful to families cruising in the future.
