We have just returned from our first ever cruise - two weeks in the Caribbean - East and West - on MSC Seaside. Two adults and two teenage boys.
We did have reservations due to reviews we had read after booking, these included the smell of sewage, dirty tables everywhere, rude staff, overflowing toilets in cabins, choice of food poor etc.
Thankfully these concerns did not materialise. This was a very important celebrational holiday and therefore needed to be special and it met and exceeded our expectations..
Cabin Review
Aurea Balcony Stateroom
Our room was wonderful - four people sharing for two weeks - so much storeage and space, for a cabin. The size of the bathroom and especially the shower was so spacious. Dual aspect views - rear window and side doors onto wrap around balcony....Izla who cleaned our cabin did an efficient job each morning and evening. ..As stated we were on deck 15, the deck below 16 which accomodates the large screen, large sun deck and entertainment. Other reviews have mentioned the sound of banging and dragging of sun beds being heard in cabins situated on 15. This was the case each morning at around 7am as staff were putting the sun beds out for the day. On our second to last night I brought this to the attention of Guest services and the following morning there was silence.
