I give this a 3 stars and I will explain. Getting on and off the ship was seamless. Cookie the Cruise Director was FABULOUS!!!! I still miss his announcements. We had an inside cabin with two adults and one pre teen and although very small we were very comfortable. The PG13 comedy shows were great and something we looked forward to. The shows in the theatre were great. The ports were fantastic and wished we could have stayed at each one just a little longer.

The food in the dining room was ok, nothing great. We shared a table with 7 other people which we did not enjoy. The people were great but after a long day of being around 4,000.00 other people all day we just wanted to sit and eat dinner with our family and talk about the day we had. We only ate dinner in the dining room one night the other nights we either ate in the steakhouse which was wonderful or the dining room which was again just ok. But you don't go on a cruise for the food do you.

There are two pools on the ship and both stayed crowded the entire day. You could do nothing but just stand in the pool to cool off no way to swim or enjoy. We either didn't get in the pool or tried to find an uncrowded hot tub on the 5th floor hottubs.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4E

The cabin was very small but comfortable. We had the bed made as a king and the pull down bed for a pre teen and we all fit well.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

We took the Waterfall excursion and it was not good. We were hurded through the entire time we were there and no real chance to sit back and enjoy the scenery or the excursion.
