As we have been on 3 cruises before, we chose this particular cruise because it went to destinations that we have never been to before... Montegnegro, Santorini, and Dubrovnick (as well as Corfu Town and Mykonos). Our tour company was 'flightsandpackages.com', and we booked our excursions beforehand directly from the NCL website... easy to do, and sves the hassle onboard. At Montegro, the guide first took us to a view point for photos along the coast, and then took us into the pretty little coastal town of Budva. The Old Town there in small but interesting. Lots of small shops, friendly people. Then we were taken back to Kotor which was very good too. To be honest, didn't have much time in Kotor which was a shame as it was even nicer with far more to see. Should you want to go there, I would actually suggest NOT going on an excursion, and simply visiting Kotor on your own. Cheaper, and simple to do as the ship is literally through Customs there. Santorini was excellent... we were blown away with it, it is just so beaufitul, nowhere like it, and no shopkeepers hassled us. We went to a Winery first (the Dessert Wine is incredible!), then went the Town of Oli which is so picturesque, then onto the Captial Fier for the return... Do be prepared for LONG wait to catch the Cable Car back to the Tender Boats. Dubrovnick was amazing too... the surrounding countryside/mountains/coast is absolutely stunning too. We first went to Old Town which was incredible. We then went to a very picturesque little family-run Winery to taste the wares and have some snacks, and then down to a gorgeous little Sea front village called cavtat (pronounced 'Savtat') which was so beautiful. Sadly, we didn't have much time to look around or even get a drink at the bar (Just pics). We got got an icecream but didn't even have time to eat it as the guide was constantly on our case and kept repeating herself. One thing to be aware of whilst on these cruise excursions... we're always on the clock... if you're late, they WILL leave without you. So choose your trips carefully. Sometimes you're better off exporing on your own... just watch that clock! Getting back to the Cruise. We has a lovely cabin on the 10th floor with a outside balcony (Top tip there!). Our stateroom concierge was called Benny and he was so lovely, cheerful and couldnt do enough for you (Such a hard worker and always had a smile on his face). And the guy is an absolute Magician at Towel Sculptures... the very best we have encountered, and they put a smile on our face every night. You can literally eat all the time of your stay... The 2 main restaurants that we used in the evenings (Versailles & Aqua) were great. Plenty of choice for all (portions not too large, just enough). The Garden buffet cafe for breakfast and lunch or dinner has more than enough food and drinks for everyone. The only fall down is that their are too many kids running around which is well dangerous for themselves, staff and other guests. Plenty of bars onboard, but the best by far was the '5 O'Clock Somewhere' Kareoke Bar. Don't let the kareoke bar bit put you off... easily the best atmosphere aboard! The guys there (Michael, Gusti, Benedict and Sergio) were amazing. Making sure everyone has a good time (in moderation!), were very informative, extremely hard-working and they made you feel special, seeing to all your needs. And though they were so hard-working, you could have a real good laugh with these guys! We would definately recommend anyone to go on a Norweigan cruise, and would like to go again ourselves. We met so many lovely people from all over the world.

Cabin Review

Balcony
Cabin BC 10206
Very clean, comfortable double bed, enough room for clothes, etc. Enough space for 2 adults with a Mini bar. Lovely balcony that we sat on first thing in the morning and early evening before getting ready for our evening meal. Shower, basin, toilet very clean. All due to Benny who looked after us throughout our wonderful weeks stay.
