We had always wanted to see the Fjords in Norway and having travelled on The Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Mary and really enjoyed both experiences we were happy to book our trip on the Queen Victoria. Although the staterooms are a little small, we had a balcony and you soon get used to the small space. Our stateroom attendant Tom was excellent, the bed was turned down each evening and we had ample towels and bathroom products as well as sufficient tea.

The dining experience in the Club Britannia restaurant was superb. Lots of choice and the waiting staff were obviously proud of their profession. On one occasion my husband left the restaurant to use the restroom and the waiter refolded his napkin, a lovely gesture. Our waitress Olga and the restaurant manager Mya were lovely, warm and friendly whilst at the same time allowing you to have personal space to enjoy your meal. I had an issue with lunch one day as I am a vegetarian which was completely my fault. A basket of fruit and some chocolates were sent to my room as an apology.

Some of the entertainment and classes could have been better. The line dancing teacher clearly did not know what she was doing and had to be supported by a colleague the Zumba class with Sadiqi was very good.
