Sail Date: Aug 2018
Cabin: Balcony

Our first time sea cruise with mix of land and sea experience.

Highlights: excellent logistics - Princess is a machine; attentive staff, quality of onboard shows (comedian, magician), scenery, access to Denali, cabin bed comfortable and shower hot (but tiny!). Demos by chefs were great, informative and humorous. Naturalist briefings were excellent. Train trip to Denali was very good but long - 9 hours.

Down points: relentless sales/upsales. Offshore WiFi is expensive. Useful information access instruction (like how to see your charges) is really obscure. Announcements not broadcast in cabins and non native speakers often make them. If you are a first time Princess customer expect to be last wrt embarking/debarking, your lodge cabin will be furthest from lodge, etc. Meals were variable, with halibut being the star. Limited time in lodges.
