This was our highly anticipated cruise to Alaska. The experience of visiting Alaska was below my expectation, specially in Juneau and the Glacier bay, where were the only places we were able to visit due to bad weather. In all other days we were confided to on board activities which were below average. Quality of food was average and below my expectation. However the staff services were excellent. The scenery of glaciers were not as majestic as one sees in pictures and promotional materials. Very disappointing. If the weather was good, it could have had more positive effect on my experience but it also made us pay more attention to food and entertainment.

If someone does not care about the quality of food and likes to EAT, and is a drinker and gets packages for drinks, then it could be satisfactory. But then one can spend lot less money doing it on land and take a flight to Juneau with local excursions.

On the last day of the cruise, the ship announced up to 75% discount on the merchnendise remaining in some of the on board stores. The same merchandise with same prices were stacked on tables and people were buying in long lines!, very disappointing for the cruise line to deceive the passengers for extra pennies in profit.
