WE have taken 65 cruises. Some of our family wanted to cruise to Alaska, and in spite of the fact that we had taken an Alaskan cruise last year, we determined to join them. We persuaded them to take a Princess Cruise since we have had good experience in the past and have Elite status. - so we felt a sense of responsibility for the group.

You expect to have some minor "glitches" on a cruise, but this cruise was a series of issues for us that made the experience very disappointing. The Entrees in the Main dinning room proved to be less than the quality we have come to expect our group had to send several back. The lobster tails were the very worse we have ever been served in any restaurant or on a cruise. We felt the production entertainment was not up to standard either. Some of our group had some issues with customer service. To be fair, the service in our Rooms and at the main dinning were stellar. Unfortunately that did not make up for the other shortfalls.

Our ratings reflect our disappointment. From Princess we would expect Very good or excellent on all catagorys.

The cabin was very accommodating. However the carpet is starting to show wear and needs updating.
