This is my second Carnival cruise and I’m not a huge carnival fan but decided since I took a weekend cruise the first time that maybe the newer ships would be better but nope this was not better. First, arriving inside was fine but the ship seemed so small it was definitely missing that “wow” factor you look forward to. The elevators took FOREVER and I understand that it being at its maximum capacity would play a big impact but the elevators were also really small! I was extremely surprised from how small everything was like the pools for example were tiny and always dirty like soap scum or like something was in it. Kids overran everything there and we’re running around knocking on people’s doors at 3am. I feel like they should have some sort of curfew for kids and not allow them to run around all night. The nightlife was crappy they only catered to one demographics music which I felt was unfair cause we’re all paying customers and we all want to have a good time. All these points can be overlooked but the main disappointment for me was the actual boat and the quality of the stuff. This boat is supposed to have been made in 2016 and it looks like it was made in the early 2000s! The ship literally has plaster and caulking all over it. The pool and it’s tiles were in shambles and the speakers on the ship looked so old and they were falling apart. There were leaks everywhere and you would be standing somewhere and have water drops fall on you. This ship is supposed to have been carnivals newest fleet and my husband and I were convinced it was purchased by carnival Corp as a refurbished ship and just remodeled in certain places. One pro was the food I would say they had really great food and Guys Burgers was definitely one of our favorite spots. The con is they take forever to serve in the main dining room! Over an hour and a half for 8 people. You either wait in line at the buffet or wait an hour and half for the seated dinner. I will not be sailing carnival again.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8D

Balcony room was good but this particular cabin is near the kids club/arcade so if you are a light sleeper pick somewhere else because kids are screaming and knocking on your door at all hours of the night
