Hi Everyone! I'm writing this as soon as I got off the ship, so the experience is still fresh in my mind.

Who Are We? I'm 18 years old, and traveled with my 80 year old grandfather (who acts closer to 60). I've been on one other cruise with Royal Carribean to the Carribean, whereas my grandfather has been on a plethora. He has been on 3 previous Alaskan Cruises. Throughout this piece, I will insert both of our opinions on a number of topics.

Cabins - We stayed in a Mini Suite with Balcony. It was small. The RC cruise I had done before had similar sized rooms - for a regular Balcony! But that's alright - you don't expect 3 bedroom penthouses on cruiseships (although The Haven exists, for those hoping to drop 12 large on a cruise). The room itself was really nice, with a modern design and dual sinks. The Balcony was not huge, but served its role well. Privacy was there. The TV, which on many cruises plays just a tiny number of shows on repeat, instead featured vast options. Definitely a positive. Each day, the floor boy would make up the room, and he did an exemplary job. By Day 2, he knew our names. This seems like a small thing, but it makes you feel like a million bucks - but with all the add-ons you are forced to get, you just might be.
