We chose this cruise based on the recommendation of a friend. The Avalon Tapestry II was the perfect size. Super clean with very comfortable public spaces both inside and outside the ship. Our cabin was clean and spacious with great storage. Bed was super comfortable and we especially enjoyed the bed facing the windows. The bathroom had a spacious shower, double sinks and good storage. Meals were delicious and plentiful. Breakfast and lunch buffet was extensive with many choices including an omelette station for breakfast and a carving station at lunch. Also, fresh fruit and many healthy choices. We appreciated the seating options in the dining room...a table for two, four or six. Our waiter Marius was very attentive. Every member of the staff was very professional, helpful and incredibly hard working. The Ports and Shore excursions were well organized with very knowledgeable tour guides. Wish we had more time in Rouen. Our favorite tour guides were Estelle and Olivier. We would definitely recommend Avalon .
