This cruise has too many ports and not enough sea days to relax. Plus, plan to spend most of the time (hours) driving to and from the cities of interest. Other than being able to see the white cliffs from the shipping port in Dover, nothing of interest is remotely near where the ship docks. I feel they could easily eliminate the Dover stop. It was not interesting and a sea day is needed at the end of this long cruise.

Beware that Amsterdam is ridiculously expensive and that most hotels don’t have air conditioning. And don’t get run over by a wild bicyclist, THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!

Be prepared with two types of foreign currency: Euros and Pounds. The ship’s exchange rate is expensive. You’re better off buying on land before cruise.
