Thoroughly enjoyed this cruise [have cruised with Scenic a number of times before] - one of the most picturesque cruises with masses of 'pinch yourself' moments as we passed by amazing landscapes [with perilously steep vineyards everywhere], or exploring the beautiful, charming townships.

Each of the excursions off the 'Opal' were supported by local guides who brought to life the medieval beginnings and survival stories of the incredibly unique history/architecture etc of cobblestone streets, castles, churches/cathedrals: always very interesting and educational; with free time to explore these quaint, colourful towns on our own.

The ship's Crystal dining room was wonderful, with the added variety and opportunity to experience the six course tasting menu at Table La Rive as well as the Italian cuisine at Portobellos Restaurant - enjoyed the selection of courses, that were delicious, well presented and matched with local wines.
