Cabin review: CFe731
E731 - absolutely great balcony, twice the size of other cabins in the same grade. Good sized bathroom and closets. Could not fault it - although we had to stuff a spoon in the ceiling to stop it rattling - be interesting to know how long it stays there!!
Port and Shore Excursions
We had a great tour of the old cricket ground (although we had been before). Not a lot to the town, however.
We did not like Aruba last time, too Americanised - so this time we walked down the front to the Renaissance hotel on the beach and negotiated the use of their sunbeds and pool in return for buying lunch. We had a wonderful relaxing day.
Lovely island, that we saw more of this time rather than just a stop off point
We always love Grenada but it had changed a lot since we had last been there. You no longer come in down the lovely walk down the Carenage. Would thoroughly recommend a day spent on the beach and at the restaurant at La Sargesse. We often go here a short taxi ride away.
This is the only place where the locals actively turned us away from walking in certain areas. This happened on 5 occasions with different people of all ages. We did go to a wonderful church service for Haiti at the cathedral.
First time in St Vincent and we loved it. The people were very friendly and helpful. We were invited into the catholic school which was interesting and the botanical gardens are a joy.
