We had a terrific time. And the crew on board were wonderful. Special hats off and thanks to Anett, Brenton, Blondie, Zoltan and his twin (Stephen? So sorry I forgot), and Captain Cedric. Entertainment band De Capo were terrific, too. Food: terrific. Wines: Terrific (recommend you get the upgrade package, well worth it). Shore excursions: Terrific. Have already booked another one in Netherlands, wish we could take Anett, Brenton, et al. along.
The Normandy tour was very good, wish it was longer. Walking tour of Rouen was very nice, too, ending at park where Joan of Arc was burned; her church there was very impressive. We also did the 3-day extension (before the cruise) in Paris, stayed at little boutique Hotel Rochester, which we highly recommend -- a short two blocks off Champs Elysees. The ship herself was immaculate stem to stern. Our only regret: That we couldn't stay aboard for another 25 or 30 trips.
Very nice room, bathroom was large enough (for a ship) to be comfortable. Always had good hot water in shower.
Saw Paris by night, with major sites lit up. Very nice.
Walking tour of cathedral, then to site where Joan of Arc was burned. Her church (modern) there very nice. Good guide.
