This was our first cruise - and the experience was fantastic. Symphony was gorgeous and really felt like a brand new resort hotel. Public spaces were beautiful, it never really felt crowded. A few customer service misses here and there, it seems like communication between departments might need some work. Cabin was lovely. Dining was fairly good, Windjammer had hit and miss service and food quality. Main dining room was a great experience, Maria was amazing. We found the Solarium Bistro fantastic for both breakfast and dinner, as it was quiet and the service was much more personal. Cantilevered hot tubs were too busy with unsupervised children, but still a brilliant experience. Central Park was my favourite element, the Royal Promenade was a close second due to crowding when the retail kiosks were open. So lovely to go for a morning stroll and loop through both, picking up a coffee from either Park or Promenade Cafe. Overall, truly, experientially wondrous.

Cabin Review

Central Park View Balcony
Cabin 2J 10633
Very nice, well designed cabin. Bathroom was well designed, but basically a large aircraft lavatory with harsh lighting - a more residential feel would be more in line with the rest of the ship's design and feel. Our AC needed to be worked on, and the lack of a privacy sheer on the Central Park cabins is a miss. Overall a quiet, pleasant cabin.
