We never thought we would want to go on a cruise, too many people, too many kids, too regimented. We were recommended this Viking trip by good friends, so took the risk! The cruise ship is geared for older adults, with no kids and I think no wheel chairs. Most of the trips needed the ability or climb on and off buses, and to walk on cobbled streets.

We loved the quiet of no children and we met many interesting international guests on board. One rarely felt that there were930guests on board.

We arrived in Stockholm two days ahead, and that worked out very well. We wished we had taken the train from Bergen to Oslo and seen Oslo at the end. Our basic cabin, was perfect and the balcony a great asset.
