We sailed to Bermuda on the Summit two years ago and enjoyed the experience. We decided to do it again. We liked the ship, and Bermuda, and Cape Liberty is a short drive, which made it very convenient and more affordable.

We arrived at Cape Liberty quite early, some time after 10:30, and we were checked in and boarded in about 15 minutes! They were ready with champagne and our rooms were available at around 1:30. This was the best embarkation we have ever experienced.

The ship, which is going into dry dock early in 2019 for a complete makeover, is still very nice, but is showing a little wear, particularly in the staterooms. We took an interior cabin for the first time, and aside from not being able to tell day from night, it was fine. Read more
