We had an ocean view cabin with an obstructed view. This wasn't too much of an issue because the roof of the lifeboat, just outside our stateroom, only came up to the bottom of the window leaving plenty to see. The quality of our stateroom was average (and average these days is pretty good) but there was only one American style plug socket wit a low voltage. Not much use for my wife's hair dryer. The Stateroom service from our steward was excellent as was the service from nearly all of the staff that we encountered. We had fixed dining and opted for a table of eight. The food was excellent as was the variety of dishes on the menu. The entertainment on this trip wasn't anything to write home about. In fact we were a little disappointed with what was on offer some evenings. The journeys up the Fjords proved to be the holiday highlights rather than the ports visited. Two of the four ports visited had very little to offer and could be done in a couple of hours. Bergan was the only really interesting port but our stop here was the shortest of all the ports. As expected we found norway to be very expensive for almost everything so not much shopping or dining ashore was done. I am glad I did this trip and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates dramatic scenery.
