Destination and excursions were wonderful. Food was really bad except for the SHARE RESTAURANT which was wonderful. Cruise staff and crew were great but ship needs maintenance and some care! The excursions and companies running excursions were all great especially the Juneau based whale photo op and mendenhal glacier hike. Very knowledgeable naturalists and professional. Cruise ship staff like our steward and spa staff were really wonderful and worked really hard and able to make our cruise positive despite the food and condition of ship. Disliked all the sell sell sell tactics in all aspects of cruise life... did not come to Alaska to purchase jewelery or art work on the ship. The restaurant staff was really welcoming and very professional but had to deliver sub par food items . Had better in hosp cafeterias. Some confusion on embark day with hard sell for spa offered treatments like teeth whitening, acupuncture and foot alignment with disclaimers needed to complete. Did not feel these were wise or needed on a cruise and felt a personal dentist ir dr should be in charge of these.
