We wanted a Caribbean cruise from NYC were we planned to spend 5 nights in advance of the cruise. Although he had visited all the islands before with the exception of Bermuda we had never been on Anthem.

The ship is very easy to navigate. It’s also fairly new and fresh. The staff at the dining room, bar etc were all excellent. Food is standard as per the other ships we have been on. Drink service in dining hall was poor. It felt like their wasn’t enough staff in the main dining room and the waiters etc spent a lot of timing running around. They worked very hard but maybe needed an extra pair of hands.

Entertainment- the ‘everynight’ performers / musicians weren’t great on this ship. Not even in tune a fair amount of the time! DSB- Journey tribute was very good.

Cabin Review

Spacious Ocean View

Cabin 1M

Cabin was nice and spacious. Huge window overlooking the front of the ship.

Port Reviews

King's Wharf

Horseshoe bay is a must!

St. Maarten

Obligatory trip to Maho beach! Just check flight timings etc before you go to see if their will be enough planes to watch otherwise their are better beaches.

San Juan

Lovely walking around old town. No need for taxis or tours.

Labadee

A bit like cococay but with more to do. Island and port looks lovely. Beach bbq is ok chicken, ribs, burgers. Full bar service. Plenty to do on the island.
