Sail Date: Jul 2018
Cabin: Balcony

We chose this cruise because we wanted a 4 day that sailed during the week. We were on this ship December 2016 and enjoyed ourselves. This time we went July 2018. There were a few upgrades since our 2016 trip. Our room was already renovated in 2016 but they did not have Guy's Burger, Red Frog, etc. We enjoyed the ports and the ship and the service is always great. However, the food was hit or miss. The breakfast buffet was not good. The last day we went to the dining room for breakfast and that was very good. The dining room food was average. My husband and I thought the food was much better on our first trip. We prefer to be in the aft part of the ship. Our room was on Deck 7 side aft. Every day about 3 pm or so, our room smelled for several hours. We assume is was when they started cooking for dinner, even though we were 3 decks above the dining room. Our first trip, we were on the back of the ship with an extended balcony on Deck 6 and didn't have a problem with odors. It was more crowded being that is was July and kids are out of school versus December. Overall, we enjoyed getting away. Even though it's a 4 day, I think the Monday to Friday itinerary makes is feel like a long trip.

Cabin 8B

It's quiet. There are no room across the hall from us. It was right around the corner from the elevator in the back. The only thing is that the room smelled everyday around 3 pm for several hours. We think it was because they started cooking for dinner around then.
