To start this out, This cruise was book because it was the one chosen for the reunion. This was my first NCL cruise and, unless things change, my last. We booked with a group of nearly 40. The cost of our tickets for a balcony was around $1300 pp.

I started out reading several threads and reviews before we left (good and bad) and made mental notes of each. The ship has stated capacity of 3963. it was stated by the cruise director that we the ship was an near full capacity of 4982 passengers. The disembarkation was smooth and well managed. We boarded the ship around 10 and had to sit in the pool area with our carry-ons as the rooms weren't ready, so I decide to get a lay of the land. The pool deck (15) was split into two different pool areas and seemed very cramped for a ship of this size and on sea days was so crowded it wasn't even enjoyed. The rear pool was equally small and crowded. With 20 people in the pool you became intimate with some. They had a band the occasionally played some music.
