We choose this cruise for our 30 th. wedding anniversary . Before the cruise we toured the city of Seattle. We had a great time. It was a good idea to try and arrive one day before you cruise so you are relaxed and not rushing. The Princess was a beautiful ship. When you pulled up to embark there were plenty of employees to help you along way, they were very helpful and friendly. When we got to our cabin we had balloons and a sign wishing us a Happy Anniversary, which made us feel great .Our steward, Nathaniel, was the best. He knew us by name whether we were near our cabin or just in the corridor. Our room was always tidy when we returned from an activity or a meal. He greeted us every morning with mail of what was planned for the day The food at all the restaurants was great. The waiters treated you with great pride in making sure you had everything you needed and that you had enough to eat Entertainment and activities were good but they overlapped or started at the same time so you had to pick one. Sometimes they did run an activity again but not all the time. Getting on and off ship for port excursion was very fast and very orderly Finding your way to excursions were very well marked so you had no problems finding yours . Would recommend going on any cruise; they are the best for the price.

Had only one problem and looking back it should have been reported the first day. This took place the first day while touring the Lotus Spa at the gym. Here they tried to sign us up for different activities. At one area they were registering guests for a foot seminar, along with belly fat reduction. There were three instructors standing by. When they started to talk about weight loss and we told them we were not interested, one instructor stood very close to my wife, staring at her. When she inquired why he was staring, He said, "you need this class ".So she said to him, "Excuse me, are you calling me fat and he again said, "you need this".. We walked away. This made her very self conscious the whole trip. She had thought that she might like to have a massage while on our trip, but was so uncomfortable and insulted she did not want to step foot in the Lotus Spa again! .Princess may need to give some sensitivity training class to this member of their crew. Unfortunately, we were so upset by this encounter we did not think to get his name. By the way, I don't believe my wife is fat by any means.
