We chose this ship based on the itinerary, the Greek Islands, Malta & Sicily. We knew it was an older ship but refurbished. That being said we were still disappointed in the ship, there appeared to be little attempt to update it. There was a raw sewage smell in certain hallways & bathrooms. There was nothing on the ship to indicate we were in the Mediterranean, not the food, decor, music or onboard activities. The food in the main dining room was barely edible and the service was ridiculously slow, the food at the buffett was slightly better. The specialty restaurants were very good.

The crew was fabulous, but limited by what was available given the age & condition of the ship. I have sailed on 2 other cruise lines & would not hesitate to recommend them and sail on them again. However based on this experience I would not sail on NCL nor would I recommend them.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BD

Our group had 3 balcony cabins & 1 ocean view cabin.

They were all a decent size for 2 people, would have been crowded with more.

In two of the cabins our group was certain there was a mold issue.

One of the bathrooms had visible mold in the shower.

One had raw sewage smells in the shower.
