Sailed the lovely Pacific Explorer. The choice of ship wasn't our main concern, it was the right time and going to the somewhere other than Melbourne winter.

We stayed in Sydney the night before and stayed at the Rendezvous Hotel Sydney The Rocks. The location is perfect, right near the OPT and literally a downhill walk to the terminal. Could not fault the hotel.

The embarkation went smoothly, keep to the time allotted and you won't have a problem. Disembarkation was quick, so quick we ended up disembarking earlier than allocated. Once again keep to you allocated time and you won't have a problem.

Cabin Review

Cabin BE balcony

Compact, but functional.

The suitcases don't fit under the bed. Bed is on the too firm side so was uncomfortable for me.

Bathroom was fine. I actually think the shower is larger than on some ships that l have been on. I am an average size and height and l thought it was roomy. It has a step in so the water does not splash out and curtain remains in place which is better than on other ships.
