We liked the active discovery agenda. We were free to choose the level of activity and dining location. We loved the hikes and town walks. Staff were excellent. We enjoyed doing our lunches in the lounge with the piano. We liked the size of the ship and number of passengers.
The only negative was lack of details of finding ship on our own and walking from train station with suitcases in Mainz..
We loved the little town of Xanten because it was quaint and not touristy and wish we were allowed more time in this port.
This was our first river cruise. We prefer smaller ships for their intimacy and Felicity filled the bill. All decks were comfortable and we loved checking them all out.
We added extra days in Frankfurt and Amsterdam. This gave us a chance to recover from overseas flights. The docking place in Amsterdam was close to train station and our hotel.
Cozy and comfortable. We didn't realize we could put suitcases under the bed until 5th day That made closet more roomy. We loved looking out the balcony window and opening it when weather allowed.
We did a nice town walk and tried local food.
We didn't spend much time on actual trail but mostly walked in vineyards with little shade
we did a city walking tour of Cathedral, squares, small businesses and art studio.
We loved climbing the tower and walking around all the lakes and seeing local families and dogs enjoying nature along with us,
View All 1 Wildpark Dusseldorf ReviewsA great sample of life along the canals and sights we went back to explore on our own after the cruise. Amazing!
