We arrived in Vancouver a couple of days before commencing our cruise, what a fabulous city . Easy to get round by their Hop On/ Hop Off buses, people very friendly and helpful.
Visited Victoria and the Butchart Gardens which are well worth a trip
Arrived at the embarkation point by cab from our centrally positioned hotel and we just followed the directions given by the staff, a very smooth operation to board the ship.
Our cabin was excellent, there was lots of space for clothes, the balcony was superb for having a quiet time if you wished and taking photos especially early mornings . Our cabin steward Nissan was excellent always there if needed, he had lots of good advice for us as it was our first time on a cruise. The room was kept perfectly with chocolates at night and towel animals . I would hope that Nissan is considered as employee of the month.
Glacier Bay is pristine, we saw Otters on the way up and the Margerie Glacier was carving whilst we were there. The Rangers who came on board very informative and helpful.
