Wanted to visit Alaska. Always heard Princess did the best job. Found out otherwise.
Dining staff were rude at times, irritable, refusing to give extra items or reluctant to exchange items. Odd for any cruise ship. Difficult getting gluten free items. Not many available. Dining staff seemed lazy, didn't want to walk back to galley if we asked for something. Attitude issues. Culture on ship is rigid. Staff seem fearful. Never got baby food ordered ahead.
Flooding bathroom floor , stopped up plumbing system, and no cold water entire trip in son's cabin B532
Would pick different cruise line when returning to Alaska because of culture issues with staff and plumbing problems that couldn't be resolved in 7 days.
Alex the cruise director, and his team were good.
Team had a lot of energy, offered many new games to keep guests involved, including late night adult games.
Music was all ok. Magician did little magic, tried to be a comedian, not very good.
Actual comedian was very good. Several shows, all different, very funny guy.
Very few food choices after 11:00pm . No late night Pizza
Good cabin . Quiet at night . Bed fairly comfortable but sags in. Over due for replacement
Room steward Jonifer was wonderful
Great location near elevator and stairs
